- 5 / 5By Christian HolterWe recently had the pleasure of dining at the Old School Cafe. As a lifelong southeast Minnesota resident, I couldn't believe I had never heard of this place. The atmosphere is perfect for the small town setting and the surrounding gardens were beautiful in early June bloom. The opening salad was accompanied by an expert balance of dried cranberries, blue cheese, mandarin oranges, onion and ranch dressing. For dinner, I had the stuffed pork loin and my wife had the chicken cordon bleu. Both were the best examples of these dishes that either of us have tasted to date. The horseradish sauce that accompanied the pork was particularly excellent. Dessert was wonderful as well. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Very highly recommended and we look forward to going back!January 23, 2017
